Why are receptionists rude in the morning?

I don’t want to go to the doctor today. I’m feeling really, really sick.

I’m on two antibiotics at once so my stomach feels weird and hurts.

And I’m really tired and barely sleeping.

Pain all over my body.

Pills pills pills.

And my head hurts.

And I’m complaining.

And WHY THE HECK ARE RECEPTIONISTS RUDE IN THE MORNING?

They just got to work.

I understand if it’s right before lunch, or when they’re about to leave for the day.

BUT RIGHT NOW?

When I’m literally on the phone saying, “I’m feeling really sick right now”.

He’s a douchebag.

Like really! I’m calling. He works in an office seeing sick people. He witnesses the suffering. I’m saying I’m suffering. I’m a longtime patient.

Nobody is sensitive. Everyone is ignorant.

Being rude really makes thinks worse when one already doesn’t feel at their best.
