I’m Watching The Kardashians & Checking Out From Life

This was originally supposed to be a blog post. And I’m still classifying it as thus. But it’s also kind of a poem. It’s a blog poem!

This is just how I’m feeling at the moment. Bunch of scribbles.

I’m Watching The Kardashians & Checking Out, blog/poem by Drem

“Life is hard enough.

People, pain, sadness, tears,

fears, side-affects from pills

and death.

It’s called being alive.

But I feel too much of life.

Does that make sense?

Everything is amplified.

My skin hurts.

I want to break out from it.

Go through the computer screen

and become one with the machine.

No people, pain, sadness, tears,

fears, side-affectss from pills

and death.

So I’m going to check out.

Turn on the TV.

Look deeply into the screen.

And doze as I watch nonsense

of people who speak but say

nothing of any real meaning.”
