Poem I wrote about it…

Our Veins Reach Up To The Dimming Absent Sun, by Drem

December 26, 2015

“In the darkness of the season,

in the black behind my eyelids,

I still blindly reach for the absent sun

my skin misses.

Like the naked branches

with their missing leaves

that ran away in the winds of fall,

we reach for the absent sun.”
