Color, a poem by Drem

November 16, 2013

“I wear gray

but I love the color

dripping from my skin.

It’s thicker than water

and doesn’t glisten.

But, against this whitewash

doughy

eyeless body of mine

it practically shines

like the sun in the sky

on a dark night.

•

Sometimes

I forget,

that my true love lies here

within me.

And what I hate-

my nightmares,

evaporate.

•

My sight

is restored.

I’m rubber banded back

towards

my insides.

I can see my insides.

They’re pretty.

•

The color is so pretty.

The consistency I adore.

It’s mine.

•

I wear gray

bu I love the color

dripping from my skin.”

  1. Woah! I’m really digging the template/theme off this blog.
It’s simple, yet effective. A lot of times it’s difficult to get
that “perfect balance” between usability and appearance. I must say you have done a amazing job with
this. In addition, the blog loads extremmely fast for me on Firefox.
    Superb Blog!
